Stay With Me

Hi guys! How y'all doin?

I've had quite a busy month, lots of working and lots of performing, and I've loved every second of it (well, the music work, not so much the traditional working lol...)! I also have some exciting news!! I'm happy to announce that I'm going on US tour with artist Sam Smith!

I'm so elated and blessed, and thankful for this opportunity. Without friends in my corner and support from them and my family, none of this would have come into fruition. And God, I prayed that I wanted an opportunity to travel, I didn't know how, but a way, and He made a way. Thank you!

I leave NYC Sunday, and the first stop of the tour is Boston, at the House of Blues. I feel like I'm coming full-circle, as I went to college in Boston, and I know that venue very well, from attending many times, even having thrown an event there my senior year! I'm hoping to see some professors and friends when I get into town! I've posted the dates so far on

my website

so check it out!

Coming to a city near you :)

I really am going to try to document the tour and take photos, and share my experiences with you all! I'm bringing my camera!

Hope you all are doing well, and thanks for all the support via my blog, instagram, emails... No comment goes unnoticed! Stay with me on this journey!

I CUT MY HAIR!!!!!
For those of you who follow me on instagram, twitter, or Facebook, you already know this, but please act surprised (for me) lol. OMG!! Can I just mention how OBSESSED I am about my new haircut? I absolutely LOVE it! There are a couple reasons why I cut my hair off, and reasons why I waited so long to do it (which I will explain in detail in an upcoming youtube video), but I feel so liberated, and am rocking my natural texture and just letting it do what it do!

I think my new haircut brings out my face and my features, which I am also loving-- I'm still playing around with products to make my curls pop, but I think I've finally found what works. It's been so long since I rocked my natural texture. I was always manipulating my natural curls when it was long. Not saying that's a bad thing, but this is just so much easier lol. I think I'm actually going to tweak the cut just a tad bit next time I go into the salon. Shout out to Pay for cutting my hair! I think she was more excited than I was to cut it! My bestie Lei recorded the whole thing, and that will also be up on youtube soon! You guys will be able to see the transformation, and me sort of freaking out when I actually hear the scissors cutting off all my length haha!

Ok, let's talk the outfit. I love how sophisticated but easily casual a blazer & t-shirt combination can be! I recently picked up these frames! They are prescription, but they have the UV Ray tinting, and I love how they turn a nice golden brown in the sun. Very 60's indeed!

These boots are my everything! By the time I peeped them and wanted to buy, they were sold out everywhere! I luckily snagged them on Threadflip, and now they're all miiiine! *cue Thriller laughter*

How have you all been? I hope you're well! :) I can't believe we're already halfway through March!

Drop me a line, I really do appreciate when you guys leave me comments! Have a good weekend!

Blackout.
Zara blazer, F21 jeans, earrings, & necklace, TJ Maxx blouse (similar here), Tory Burch booties (old), Super sunnies.

I uploaded a photo on instagram yesterday showing the location where I shot these photos. I felt like I was in The Hunger Games, and joked with my mom, stating that we needed to listen out for a running stream just incase. I then proceeded to whistle that 4-note tune to the non-existent Mockingjay's... Not surprisingly, there was no response.

How is everyone? How is it already December?! This year has definitely flown by.

I am now a Lucky Magazine contributor, which is pretty exciting!! A couple of my blog posts have been published so far, so please check them out, and vote them up for me! :)

On another note, Monday's are such a drag, but it's supposed to be 60 degrees today, which is quite strange (global warming is real)! Only 2 weeks until holiday break (yes I'm counting down the days)!

Until then, have a great work/school week!

Androgyny
These shoes.  My new favorite pair of shoes, no doubt.  When I saw them on my Zara app on my iPhone, I immediately posted them to Facebook to get everyone's opinion.  Either way, I knew ultimately that I had to have them!

I premiered these gold beauties at work this past weekend and got rave reviews from guests at work, as well as my co-workers.  My co-workers are used to my ever-changing style, and all they did was laugh and say, "Only you Kristin."  They liked the shoes though, but I kept getting called "Michael Jackson" for some reason..... lol.
I've been a big fan of the top bun lately.  It's super easy and looks so classy imo.
Maybe this is why people kept calling me Michael Jackson lol...

I'm off to a photo shoot this afternoon, where I will be modeling a vintage bridal dress.  It's gorgeous!  I posted a pic to twitter the other day, but I definitely will be sharing with you all proofs from the shoot!  I'm a little nervous and very excited. :)  This evening I'm being taken to see Esperanza Spalding in concert which will be the perfect ending to my eventful day!  It's crazy seeing her on campus just like any other normal Berklee student like myself, to viewing her on live television winning a Grammy, to watching her onstage tonight as the amazing, beautiful, and talented artist she has become!  Wow!
